Been to the gym this morning and it felt awesome. I was able to lift 5pounds heavier for my Dumbbell Bench Press, Dumbbell and Barbell rows, and deadlift. How do I know? Well I simply keep a journal which I would really recommend you should do too to further improve yourself. Track your progress by writing down any changes in weight (optional) and body measurement (which I still have to work on). Keep a record of the weights you have used and challenge it the next week.
One more change I did was to lessen my water intake to 2/3rds of what I used to consume on a daily basis (3-4Liters) since I sweat a lot while in the gym making me the center of attention (which I find amusing but it happens that the change room does not have a door that I needed to wrap myself with a towel in order to keep my privates to meself while I change le knickers). Though I'm not sure whether there would be some health benefits to it since I read an article before that says: "too much water intake may flush away your gains" (I need to find that article to back me up..sheesh why did I even mention it?)
So, this afternoon am back home to work on some things while feeling marvelous. Got my haircut a while ago too and managed to have a conversation with the barber who asked me. Do you lift bro? To which I replied: "yeah, obviously!" which led to a series of friendly banter then finally he began narrating his past when he used to work out. Apparently, a friend of his whom he highly regarded to as a ripped individual ("he looked thin with a shirt on but once he takes it off, you can see fully detailed shredded muscles" well that's the way he described it) advised him to take a Fat-burning pill (Lipo-6) along with shitloads of soya milk and "taho" which are basically made from processed soybeans . The result as he told me was awesome, he got stronger and lost some weight. The not awesome part; he didn't see any lean muscles and felt like a wimp after. He got disheartened and suddenly stopped. So what's the moral to this story? Simply, don't talk crap to me if you don't want to hear my Sarcastic opinions!...On a serious matter, It's not wrong to ask for advice from people whom you admire but it doesn't hurt to take them with a grain of salt. Who says you can build muscle by taking processed shit and a fat burner? Use your sixth sense!, "use your noggin" as what Total Immersion Swimming Head Coach Terry Laughlin would say. Common sense is a natural gift that keeps your own thinking fairly rational.
